Key Responsibilities
This is how you'll help us succeed
- Drive new business through proactive outbound prospecting, leveraging industry knowledge and advanced consultative selling techniques.
- Effectively manage and prioritize inbound leads, conducting qualification calls and follow-ups to deliver an exceptional first impression of ConnexPay.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Revenue teams to build targeted lead lists and campaigns focused on high-potential verticals and decision-maker roles.
- Create and execute multi-step, multi-channel outreach sequences, customizing messaging to address industry-specific pain points and challenges.

- Support cross-functional initiatives including events, webinars, and targeted marketing campaigns, helping drive attendance and qualified engagement.
- Maintain meticulous and timely records of all prospecting activity, engagement, and insights in CRM (HubSpot), ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Bring a daily drive to exceed performance targets for meetings booked, qualified pipeline generated, and other key metrics.
Qualifications
Applicants for this role will have:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of experience as a Business Development Representative or similar sales role
- Experience in B2B SaaS, payments, or fintech industries
- Proficiency with CRM software (HubSpot experience is a plus) and sales research tools such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
- Knowledge and ability to learn and leverage AI-powered solutions to improve prospecting, automate workflows, and drive efficiency
- Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding KPIs
- Proven ability to learn, develop, and succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
