We are looking for a Cloud Engineer II that has extensive experience with Azure Cloud IaaS, PaaS, AAD and general cloud technologies. In this role you will be part of a team that is responsible for managing all company infrastructure systems and devices. This team recommends, acquires, and implements operational software system(s). This position will work closely with our CISO and cybersecurity projects to implement and adhere to ConnexPay’s Information Security posture. Additionally, this role will lead infrastructure projects that design, implement, monitor, and secure Azure services. This role reports into the VP of IT Operations.

Key Responsibilities

This is how you'll help us succeed

  • Team member responsible for Infrastructure architecture initiatives to support ConnexPay system requirements
  • Assist with setup, configuration of security systems connecting to ConnexPay resources
  • Install 3rd party enterprise software as required by each ConnexPay department
  • Assist with the planning, and implementation of endpoint management strategy
  • Administer Microsoft365, SharePoint, MS-Team and EntraAD (onboarding and offboarding administration)
  • Implement systems compliant with PCI/SOC and show related evidence
  • Work with Data Security Analyst to design, configure and implement cybersecurity, anti-virus, anti-malware and other security software
  • Work with database and analytics teams to support, monitor and update related SQLServer and Postgres systems
  • Work with a 3rd party service providers that partner with us IaaS, and PaaS services
  • Create and maintain road maps, diagrams, upgrades and test plans for infrastructure system
  • Establish processes to ensure an accurate inventory, accountability, and status of software
  • Participate in Azure hardware selection process (i.e., Microsoft service plans) to support business functions
  • Work with change management, development, and security teams to implement changes of devices to support ConnexPay application systems
  • Work with security to develop and implement standards for ConnexPay security posture
  • Create dashboards to provide updated information on the health of all managed devices
  • Research and create performance metrics to evaluate security, configuration, and accountability of devices
  • Inform leadership team on risks in the management, security and availability of Azure services
  • Create dashboards to provide quick and accurate information on all managed devices
  • Other technology related tasks as assigned by ConnexPay management

Qualifications

Applicants for this role will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or similar with 7+ years of experience in IT or 10+ years of relevant training and experience in lieu of a degree
  • Extensive experience with Azure Kubernetes, Azure Firewall, Azure networking and any Web Application Firewall
  • Other Azure services is a plus
  • Experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems
  • Working administration knowledge of Microsoft365, EntraID and PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with planning and executing infrastructure system upgrades
  • AD/DNS/DHCP/VNET/VLAN administration experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in SIEM Systems or similar platform
  • Subject matter expert on Azure Portal Administration
  • Experience with DataDog is a plus
  • Experience managing Windows Web IIS Servers and Linux Apache/Tomcat
  • Expert understanding security technologies: OS hardening, DLP, vulnerability remediations
  • Zscaler ZIA/ZPA experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Terraform is a plus
