Key Responsibilities
This is how you'll help us succeed
- Assist the Marketing Events Manager with organizing and tracking events that ConnexPay sponsors, attends, and hosts across multiple industries. Events include conference booths, dining events and executive meetings.
- Help maintain event calendars and schedules, ensuring all team members are informed of upcoming events.
- Support the coordination and execution of ConnexPay team offsites.
- Maintain organized documentation of event materials, contacts, and resources.
- Support the creation of event-related marketing materials and communications.
- Track event budgets and expenses, updating spreadsheets as needed.
- Attend weekly marketing team meetings and provide status updates on assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Applicants for this role will have:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management abilities and capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Interest in the fintech, payment processing, or related industries
- Previous event planning experience is a plus but not required
