We’re looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer (contract-to-hire) who is excited and passionate about bringing new products to market. You’ll have the opportunity and responsibility to work across all aspects of the solution—feature requirements, architecture and design, implementation, and customer integrations. You’ll join a team of talented engineers working in a fast-paced, agile environment, developing a groundbreaking, multi-tenant, cloud-based payments platform. Key Responsibilities

This is how you'll help us succeed

  • Design test cases and scenarios to cover all aspects of functional and non-functional requirements using Jira.
  • Perform manual testing to validate the functionality and performance of software applications, APIs, databases and user interfaces.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that code changes and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
  • Work closely with the product and development teams to address issues, clarify requirements, and drive defect resolution.
  • Propose ideas and contribute towards the enhancement of QA methodologies, best practices, and standards.

Qualifications

Applicants for this role will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or related/equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience building enterprise applications using .NET technologies: ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, C#
  • 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies: Angular JS, React JS, JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server including writing optimized stored procedures and user defined functions
  • Good understanding of Observability using Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace or similar tool
  • Ability to work closely with on-site and off-site teams in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong and proactive work ethic
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with Gitor comparable source-control tool

Desirable Skills:

  • Prior experience in the payments or financial services industry
  • Experience with Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket)
  • Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation tools, such as Team City or Octopus Deploy
  • Experience with Cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
  • Familiarity with AI tool and patterns in AI assisted coding
